Teen Film Camp 2016

Film Camp was June 27 through July 1 at Cape May City Elementary. We had a great time. We had 27 teens who were divided into four groups. Each group wrote, shot and edited its own short film.

Check out our films below.

The mission of Film Camp is to teach teens to be able to write, shoot and edit their own films without making major mistakes. Films made at camp are intended to be good enough for students to include them in college applications.

Film Camp was held for five full days at the Cape May City Elementary School. Professional instructors supported by full time volunteers taught teens the fundamentals of filmmaking. Hands-on experience was provided in screenwriting, storyboarding, acting, directing, cinematography and editing. On Friday evening the students and their families and friends watched the completed films.
